Frequently Asked Questions
How does the privacy protection work?
All image processing happens directly in your browser using JavaScript. Your images never leave your device or get uploaded to any servers. This ensures complete privacy and security.
What image formats are supported?
We support PNG, JPG, JPEG, WebP, BMP, GIF, TIFF, SVG, ICO, AVIF, and HEIC formats for input. For output, you can download in PNG, JPEG, WebP, BMP, TIFF, and AVIF formats.
How do I use the overlay feature?
After uploading an image, you can add multiple overlay areas using the "Add Overlay" button. Click and drag to position overlays, and use the resize handles to adjust their size. All selected overlays will be pixelated when you apply the effect.
Can I undo my changes?
Yes! The tool includes a full undo/redo system. You can undo your last action or redo previously undone actions using the Undo and Redo buttons in the sidebar.
What's the difference between pixelation modes?
"Top-Left Pixel" mode uses the color of the top-left pixel in each block, while "Average Color" mode calculates the average color of all pixels in each block. Average Color typically produces smoother results.
