Frequently Asked Questions

security Is my privacy protected? expand_more

Yep! Everything runs in your browser. Your images never leave your device - nothing gets uploaded, ever.

tune What's the difference between pixelation modes? expand_more

Top-Left Pixel: Uses the color of the top-left pixel in each block for the entire block. Average Color: Calculates the average color of all pixels in each block, creating a more blended effect. Choose based on your desired artistic style.

layers How do multiple overlays work? expand_more

Multiple overlays allow you to create complex pixelation effects by selecting different areas of your image. Each overlay can have different pixel sizes and settings. When you apply pixelation, all selected overlays will be processed together, giving you precise control over which parts of your image are pixelated.

history Can I undo my changes? expand_more

Yes! The tool includes a full undo/redo system. You can undo your last action with the "Undo" button or redo it with the "Redo" button. This works for all pixelation operations, allowing you to experiment freely and step back through your changes.

devices Does it work on mobile devices? expand_more

Yes! The tool is fully responsive and works on all devices including smartphones and tablets. The interface adapts to different screen sizes, and touch controls are optimized for mobile use. You can upload images from your mobile device's camera or gallery.

speed Is there a file size limit? expand_more

Since processing happens in your browser, the main limitation is your device's memory and processing power. For best performance, we recommend images under 10MB. Larger images may take longer to process but will still work.
